5 Tips for Getting Started in Corjl

You signed up for Corjl (YAY!) now what? Starting out in a new design program can be daunting, but there is no need to worry because Corjl makes handling your business extremely easy for you. Corjl is a powerful visualization and proofing platform for personalized products. Corjl works as a virtual assistant to assemble, protect, demo and deliver your items with ease! To make this process easy here are 5 tips to help you get started in your Corjl account!
1. YOUR BRAND IS BEST – Add Your Logo!
Once you have created your Corjl account send us your brand’s logo so it can be displayed in your orders and demos! This way your customers will know the small business they are supporting! Take a look here for the specific dimensions needed to create your logo!
2. UPLOAD!
Time to upload your assets! JPGs, SVGs, PNGs! In Corjl you need to upload your own images & fonts. It is important to make sure you have the proper licensing for both your images as well as your fonts! When bulk uploading your images only choose 20 at a time for quicker uploading. Also, remember you do not need clip art to be extremely LARGE to still appear beautiful on your designs! You can adjust the ppi/dpi in your designs to help with image sizes! This will help make uploading, designing and loading easier on you and your customers.
3. CREATE YOUR FONT GALLERY
One of Corjl’s great features are the FONTS! (There is always a font for every mood, am I right or am I right?!?) Click the “font gallery” button to have access to HUNDREDS of fonts! Once you click a font it gets added to your “my fonts” lists – this is YOUR font gallery! Any font you use while working on a design gets added to your “Design fonts.” These are the fonts your customer will be able to choose from when editing that specific design! Double click or drag and drop the font onto your design and then BAM start typing away! For more detailed font tips be sure to check out our synching feature (ooohhh ahhhh)
4. CREATE A LISTING!
HUGE TIP RIGHT HERE! Once you finish a design on Corjl the next step is to create a listing in Corjl. This is really easy you can just click “create new listing” in your “listings” tab and then drag and drop your designs into the listing! Super easy! The tip I am sharing with you here is that it is just as important to upload your listing to ETSY, SHOPIFY or WOOCOMMERCE. Creating a listing in Corjl does not create a listing in your integrated shop – you still need to upload it in your shop. This is crucial – so don’t forget! The last step is to add your product ID to your Corjl listing. This is found in the product URL – here’s an example that may help!
5. CHECK YOUR LISTINGS!
The last tip I have for you is once you have connected your product ID’s is to check your listings! Go to your listings and click on the listing demo. If the listing is connected to your shop’s listing correctly then the “buy now” button in your demo will link straight to your listing. Check these after you create your listings and then you can sit back, relax and let Corjl do the rest of the work for you!
